ENROLLMENT AGREEMENT
GRADUATION
Graduate from Galileo’s Travel Agent Training Program in eight months following a successful completion and financial
obligation, a student will receive a certificate which reflects the professional training received. We reserve the right
to academically cancel any student who does not demonstrate satisfactory progress.
YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL
The student may cancel and obtain a refund by notifying Galileo Travel School, 1700 S Winchester Blvd., Suite 102,
Campbell, CA 95008.
The student has a right to a full refund of all charges, less the amount of $100.00 for the registration fee, if he/she is accepted into the program. If the first lesson is sent to the student by first-class mail, the student has the right to cancel or withdraw from the program until midnight of the eight business day after the first lesson was mailed.
The school will also refund money collected for sending to a third party on the student's behalf such as application fees. If the School
cancels or discontinues a course or educational program, the School will make a full refund of all charges. Refunds will be paid
within 30 days of cancellation or withdrawal.
You will receive a refund of all monies paid less NON-refundable registration fee of $100.00 if you are accepted
into the program. You may cancel on the eighth business day of receiving and reviewing the first lessons by notifying
Galileo Travel School via e-mail or telephone. A student who cancels or withdraws from the program may
request a refund in writing. If the materials are returned in "unused" condition, the student will receive a refund of
their monies paid minus the $25.00 shipping and handling fee. If the materials have been used or written in, the
student will be charged the actual cost of the materials plus the $25.00 shipping and handling fee. Any monies
then remaining would be refunded.
You must pay the state-imposed fee for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund (STRF) if all of the following applies to you:
- You are a student, who is a California resident and prepays all or part of your tuition either by cash, guaranteed student
loans, or personal loans, and - Your total charges are not paid by any third-party payer such as an employer, government program or other payer
unless you have a separate agreement to repay the third party.
You are not eligible for protection from the STRF and you are not required to pay the STRF fee if either of the following:
- You are not a California resident,
- Your total charges are paid by a third party, such as an employer, government program or other payer, and you
have no separate agreement to repay the third party.
DISCLOSURE
“NOTICE CONCERNING TRANSFERABILITY OF UNITS AT OUR SCHOOL - Units you earn in our Correspondence
Travel Agent Training Program in most cases will probably not be transferable to any other college or university
in the future even though you earned units here at our school. In addition, if you earn a diploma or certificate in our
Correspondence Travel Agent Training Program, in most cases it probably will not serve as a basis for obtaining a degree
at a college or university.”
We are registered with the State of California, which means we have met certain minimum standards imposed by the
state for registered schools on the basis of our written application to the state. Registration does not mean we have met
all of the more extensive standards required by the state for schools that are approved to operate or licensed or that the
state has verified the information we submitted with our registration form.
